Humber Polytechnic’s Information Technology Solutions graduate certificate is designed for learners who want to enter the IT field, even without a formal background in technology. The program provides a pathway into software development by building a strong foundation in programming, databases and core system skills, while offering opportunities to specialize based on individual career goals. Applicants who have already studied IT or have experience with it, may also qualify for an accelerated pathway. Early in the program, students gain the essential skills every developer needs, including application programming, database design, operating systems and web development. The curriculum also introduces cloud, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, providing an overview of today’s technology landscape and helping students identify areas where they may wish to deepen their expertise. |
